"LOOK WELL TO THE SPINE FOR THE CAUSE OF DISEASE." - HIPPOCRATES

Health Chiropractic

You may or may not be aware that your body has a continuous flow of nerve energy that monitors and controls all your body functions. At the helm of your miraculous body is your brain. All energy in your body originates in your brain. The energy is transported through the spinal cord and nerves to every part of your body every single cell. For example, when you smell Mom's apple pie, your body automatically activates digestive functions. This process is directed by the brain and nerves. Or if you walk up a flight of stairs, your muscles send messages via the nerves requesting more oxygen. The brain then directs the lungs to take in more oxygen (heavier breathing) and the heart to beat faster (carrying oxygen to the muscles). Obviously, you would prefer that your nerves send the proper messages to assure proper body function. The nerves traveling throughout the body exit the spinal cord through the spine. Unfortunately, the spine can misalign and lose proper function (vertebral subluxations). This not only can cause pain or discomfort in the back and neck, but, more seriously, it interferes with the flow of energy through the nerves. Vertebral subluxations do not allow your body to work at its best and can lead to a breakdown in certain body functions. Chiropractic adjustments restore proper spine function and normalize the flow of nerve energy. Having your spine checked to assure proper function is a very simple and comfortable process. Most importantly it allows you to be at your best!
